Alocasia 'Sumo' Black Veins

The Alocasia Sumo Elephant Ear plant is a tropical evergreen plant with arrowhead shaped leaves. Its leaves are extra large with red or purple veins on the undersides of the leaves. The Alocasia Sumo can grow up to 6 - 8 with ample sunlight and high humidity. It is an indoor and outdoor plant.

Alocasia Sumo Black Veins Plant Care

Watering

Water every 4-7 days when top 1" of soil is dry. Alocasia are water loving plants but never the plant sit in soggy soil. 

Light

High indirect sunlight or 8-10 hours under grow lights.

Temperature

65°F - 75°F 

Soil Mix

Well drained Peat Moss, Perlite, Orchid Bark

Humidity

Keep humidity high at 65 - 75%

Fertilizer

Every 4 weeks in summer and every 12 weeks in winter
